  Mike and Brad both cut their teeth on stage at an early age. Brad founded and played in several original bands in his home state of Missouri while attending Mizzou. Eager to make a statement, Mike was a co-founder in a speed metal band in the 80's right here in Houston, Texas. They were introduced to each other in 2008 and struck a friendship immediately. After a stint in a cover band, they were soon writing originals. Performing live music is a passion for both of them and being able to include satirical comedy influences in their lyrics is what makes them tick. While most punk and metal, especially in the satirical realm, use a lot of profanity, Two Fifths takes the not so on the nose approach and chooses to find other words to fill the spots.
